Since I know there will be a lot of hate for this show due to the recent ups and downs of Star Wars, I’m happy to say that’s a plus. So far… The first 2 episodes are neither new nor very original, but that’s not a problem because it does everything well. The cast and their performances are great, the costumes and set design are probably the best we’ve seen since Andor, the writing, especially the hilarious banter between the kids, was good. Again, nothing new, but it’s intriguing nonetheless, and I’m happy to keep watching it. Gives me strong Treasure Planet vibes. As someone who hasn’t enjoyed Star Wars recently, I was blown away by Skeleton Crew. I hope anyone who’s even slightly interested or even annoyed by the recent shows gives it a go. Don’t let the «kid-friendly» talk put you off. Star Wars is made for everyone, and this one is too.
